Pesanggrahan Sluice Gates Show on Alert-III Status

Citizens that live along Pesanggrahan riverbank are encouraged to be alert of water flood. This is because the water level at Pesanggrahan has reach 170 centimeters or Alert III status since 5.30 p.m.

The water level reached 100 centimeters at 2 p.m. and increased to 170 centimeters or Alert III status at 5.30 p.m.

 

Emergency Operation Command Center (Pusdalops) of Jakarta Disaster Management Agency (BPBD), Muchtiyanto said, the water level increased gradually. At the beginning, the water level still on Normal status or 70 centimeters at 12 p.m. But, the water level continues to rise until it reached 170 centimeters at 5.30 p.m.

"The water level reached 100 centimeters at 2 p.m. and increased to 170 centimeters or Alert III status at 5.30 p.m.," said Muchtiyanto at Jakarta City Hall, Monday (2/23).

 

Muchtiyanto continued, his side has also informed the citizens to be more vigilant. "We also had coordinated with local officials," he added.

 

Furthermore, some areas that will be affected by this Alert III status are Lebak Bulus, Pondok Pinang, IKPN, Ciledug Raya-Cipulir, Sukabumi Selatan, Kelapa Dua, Kebon Jeruk, Kedoya Selatan, Rawa Buaya, Kembangan, Green Garden-Kedoya Utara, Cengkareng, Kapuk Poglar-Kedaung Kali Angke, and Kapuk Muara.
